Kettering General Hospital

The hospital required over 150 metres of chilled and cold water pipework frost protected. The pipework which ran from the pump station to both a chiller and air handling unit, was installed with type VC constant wattage heating cable to maintain the pipework at +5°C. ESH designed, supplied materials and installed the system.

Elizabeth Garrett School, Islington

ESH supplied a number of factory terminated frost protection trace heating kits along with thermostats for installation by the onsite insulation contractors. The goods were despatched on the day of order for a pre-10am delivery the following morning.

Parkfield House, Altrincham

ESH were contracted to make the final connection of the H2OWAT65 self regulating heating cable to the HWAT controllers and to commission the trace heating system.

Beeches Manor Care Home, Wokingham

Within this modern extra care living complex, ESH designed, supplied and installed over 450 metres of type H2OWAT55 self regulating heating cable. The required application was to temperature maintain the domestic hot water pipework at +55°C.

London Designer Outlet, Wembley


Located next to the iconic Wembley Stadium, this brand new outlet offers over 70 shops, restaurants and coffee shops. ESH designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the external cold water pipework situated on the buildings roof.

Ward 14, Birmingham Children's Hospital

Within this brand new hospital ward, ESH were contracted to provide two separate trace heating systems:

  • A hot water temperature maintenance system to the wards heating pipework to maintain +55°C
  • A self regulating frost protection system to the chilled water pipework 

ESH supplied and installed both type H2OWATT55 (hot water) and ESRS (frost protection) heating cables.

This school trace heating project was split into two systems:

  • Frost protection of the external cold water services pipework
  • The temperature maintenance of the hot water pipework at +55°C

Rolls Royce Power Station, Derby



ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a trace heating system to perform the duty of frost protecting the external steam services pipework. The system was designed using our type VC constant wattage heating cable.

The Capstan Centre, Essex

Type FBT self regulating heating cable was supplied and installed to the external cold water pipework to prevent the water crystallising and freezing in low ambient temperatures.
